Workplace Investigations

We have experience investigating whistle-blower complaints or other issues regarding workplace conduct. Our reports are used for disciplinary purposes and/or criminal prosecutions. Workplace Investigations Surrey. 

Sample Cases:

1. An employee accused other employees of improper conduct. Our investigation into the issues resulted in a termination of several employees.
2. A journalist obtained information which resulted in a workplace investigation of conflict of interest and other breaches of company policies. Our report resulted in the resignation of certain individuals. 
3. An employee complained about the conduct of the CEO of a bank. Our investigation uncovered a lack of compliance with company policy. 
4. An employee complained about how funds were being used for medical research at their organization. Our investigation uncovered inappropriate payments to corporations not related to the research.
5. An student complained that their exam marks were fradulently adjusted by the graders. Our investigation revealed that several students received mark changes after paying a fee to the organization. 

 We have experience conducting government and regulatory investigations to determine compliance to laws, rules and regulations.
Sample Cases: 

1. Heed v. The Chief Electoral of BC: This involved the investigation into election spending. Public record. 
2. The Law Society of BC: Various investigations into financial and trust management of members (Hammond, Uzelac, Geller, Skogstad). Public record.  
3. Government inquiry: We assisted the government in reviewing compliance with legislation relating to companies operating as government agencies.
4. Regulatory investigation: A complaint from the public warrants a review of whether a member of a professional organization is complying with the rules and by-laws of the organization.  Our report provided evidence of non-complaince.
